Who is endosQ
endosQ offers specialist gastroenterology and endoscopy services, with specialist practice management support. We are committed to delivering expert, individualised care to patients and their families in Queensland. We currently have clinics in Mackay and Brisbane, and we are actively expanding.
History of endosQ
Mackay Endoscopy, the forerunner to endosQ, was established in 2008 by Dr James Daveson, MBBS(Qld) FRACP.
Dr Daveson grew up in Mackay and has chosen since obtaining his fellowship in gastroenterology to travel weekly to the endosQ Mackay practice in order to provide a service to the region without patients having to travel to a major city. In addition, Dr Daveson is available to see patients in Brisbane. He has since been joined by Gastroenterologist: Dr Carlton Li, GP Specialist: Dr Jennifer Schafer & GP: Dr Adam Hatherly.
Quality services in rural areas

Coral Sea Clinical Research Institute (CSCRI)
CSCRI was established in 2018 when Dr James Daveson saw an opportunity to develop a regional clinical trial site that would allow regional patients to access therapies otherwise not normally available outside of Queensland Metropolitan centres.
